Size guide

The best way to find your correct size is to get the size of your daywear clothing and then check it against our chart below. We make it easy by making our garments X-Small, Small, Medium, Large or X-Large. For example if you're a Size 12 then we recommend a Medium.

The greatest thing about buying sleepwear online is that you can't go wrong with sizing if you follow this chart. Papinelle sleepwear is designed with 'easy-fit' features such as elastic waistbands or adjustable straps to ensure that they fit a majority of figure types.

If you want to double-check your size take a moment to measure yourself and then use these measurements to choose the correct Papinelle size for you.

Papinelle takes great care in ensuring all sizes are to New Zealand standards and corresponding to the size chart below.

MEASURING TIPS:

Measure the fullest part of the bust and hips. Keep the tape measure firm, but not tight and measure over your undergarment.

HOW TO MEASURE:

  • Bust: Measure around the upper body, under the armpits and over the fullest part of your bust.
  • Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist, and bend to one side to find the natural crease of your waistline.
  • Hips: measure around the fullest / widest part of your hips.

    Disappointed

I replaced my beloved winter dressing gown after 16 years and went for this after alot of deliberation. I mean a lot of deliberation - cost high but a good brand. Yes it is warm and cozy but it pils so badly - inside and out. I’ve washed it as per the instructions and it has shrunk. What used to be almost to my ankles and now is mid calf. I got a M/L and now feels like a S/M. Really disappointed.

    Polyester piling

Paid $200 which now on sale for half off which sucks because my robe although warm is piling and the polyester is escaping every time I wear the robe (daily)…I fell asleep in it and in the morning found snags and loss of stitches…how do I stop the polyester beading?

    Cosy & luxurious

This robe is so soft and cosy. It is like wearing a beautiful, soft, warm blanket! It is true to size, I am 156cm and wear a 6-8 and bought the XS/S. It just skims the top of my feet so no cold can get through anywhere. I'm obsessed with it! This is a luxurious gift to treat yourself or someone you love, don't hesitate to get one
